Yesterday we arrived in Boston, and we only had one night to take in the city. I wish we could have stayed longer. It was my first time in Boston. But we had a pretty good time. And by we I mean Genny and me. Everyone else decided to be lame and stay in. We drove down to Newbury St (pictured above), which is a really great area for shopping and eating. We also took a walk around the Boston Commons, which was really beautiful. It used to be the site of public hangings, but it was still really pretty. Today we performed at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, which was just a block away from Newbury St. So, I guess our little time in Boston was nice, but I'd love to go back and spend more time there. Luckily it's pretty easy to get to from New York. There are direct buses for only $15. Maybe this summer...

The tour is almost over! I'm pretty excited to leave Junie behind for a while. We have three days off in a row coming up and I feel like taking a vacation...but that would mean spending all the money I make for the week, so I guess I'll just stay in New York. Maybe I'll take a walk over to Central Park and pretend like I'm in the country. I hardly ever go to Central Park since Riverside park in right outside my front door. So, I guess Central Park would be a vacation of sorts.

P.S. Today I bought the most delicious snack mix ever. Nuts About Raspberries and Chocolate Trek Mix from Trader Joe's. Peanuts, almonds, dried raspberries and chocolate chips. What could be better?
